When creating your website you will want to bear in mind your branding.

Whilst you may think it strange to be considering your brand at this early stage in the process, it can make things easier in the long run.

Do you already have a logo or colour scheme that you use elsewhere, perhaps on Social Media or on Business Cards.  Maybe you have a shop or business premises with established brand colours.

If you use two or three colours in your Logo or on Business Cards then you may want to decide how to incorporate them into your website design.

For example, I have used two colours for all of my branding with MobilERA.  These are incorporated into the website, not only in the Logo, but also in Header Text and Button Colour/Text, to provide a consistant brand.

It is important to consider this at the early stage because you will want to check how your colour scheme works with the website both on desktop and on mobile devices.

Colours that look great on a Business Card or printed stationery etc, for example Gold Text on a Dark Blue Business Card may not work well on the website and you may need to rethink how you use the actual colours, ie using Gold for Heading Text and Blue for Buttons but with White Text rather than Gold.

Once you have determined what looks best then stick with it.

In the MobilERA Platform it is easy to adjust the Global Style Setting for your website, so that you don't have to adjust the colours constantly.
